Payment link terms
These terms are for shoppers paying a business through a Dinetap payment link. If you run a restaurant on Dinetap, the document that applies to you is the merchant Terms and Conditions.

- Refunds where applicable
Dinetap provides technology that enables Merchants to generate and use Payment Links through the Dinetap Platform. Dinetap is not the seller of the Merchant’s goods or services and is not responsible for fulfilment, delivery, returns, or refund decisions.
Adyen provides the Adyen-hosted payment page and processes your payment on behalf of the Merchant.

4. How Payments Happen

Payments are generally charged immediately when you confirm payment, unless the Merchant clearly states otherwise, for example in the case of:
- Deposits
- Partial payments or
- Delayed capture arrangements
Your bank or payment method provider may require additional verification before authorizing the payment, including measures such as 3D Secure or a one-time password (OTP).
If your payment fails, is declined, or you believe you have been charged more than once, you should contact the Merchant first and provide your payment reference or receipt details.

Your payment is processed by Adyen, acting as the Merchant’s payment service provider.
The legal entity responsible for the transaction is the Merchant legal entity shown in the checkout details or payment experience. Your contract for the purchase of goods and/or services is with the Merchant, not with Dinetap.
7. Delivery and Fulfilment
Delivery and fulfilment depend on the type of goods or services purchased from the Merchant.
Examples include:

If you have a dispute regarding a purchase made using a Payment Link, you should first contact the Merchant to try to resolve the matter directly.
If the issue is not resolved, you may be able to raise a dispute or chargeback through your bank, card issuer, or payment method provider, depending on their rules and procedures.
