  • Payment outcomes such as success, failure, or refund status

  • Information needed to help you with refunds or support requests


We collect only the information necessary to securely process and complete your payment.
Payment Data

  • Fraud-prevention flags

  • Transaction reference IDs


We do NOT collect or store:

2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We process your information only when necessary for payment purposes or when required by law.

We process your information to:

  • Complete your payment securely
  • Confirm the payment status to the website
  • Support refunds
  • Prevent fraudulent transactions

  • Maintain checkout stability

  • Assist you when you request customer support

  • Meet accounting, financial, and compliance requirements


We do not use your information for marketing, profiling, or advertising.

  • Dinetap Payment API - to create and verify your payment session
  • Adyen - to securely process your payment
  • Sentry (optional) - for anonymous error tracking if the merchant enables it

  • During business transfers or mergers

4. HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?

In Short: Not applicable.

The Dinetap Payments plugin does not provide or use social login features.

5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: Only as long as needed.

  • Order and payment information: Stored indefinitely for legal and financial recordkeeping.
  • Logs: Deleted automatically after 30 days.
  • Security/duplicate-payment checks: Deleted after 60 seconds.
  • Sentry error tracking (if enabled): Deleted after 90 days.


We retain only what is necessary and delete or anonymize data when no longer needed.

6. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

We use a combination of technical and organizational controls, including:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Secure communication with trusted providers
  • No storage of card numbers or sensitive payment data
  • Fraud-prevention mechanisms
  • Strict access controls
  • Industry-standard payment security through Adyen


Despite our safeguards, no internet transmission is completely secure. Use checkout services in a secure environment.
