Dinetap Adyen Payment Terminal
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the provision and use of Adyen payment terminal services by merchants (“Merchant”, “you”, or “your”) through Dinetap SG PTE. LTD. (doing business as “Dinetap”) (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
Under these Terms, Dinetap provides merchants with Adyen payment terminal devices, including devices with built-in printers, together with related onboarding, configuration, support, and payment enablement services. Payment transactions made through the terminal are processed through Adyen and other approved payment rails, subject to Adyen’s requirements, payment scheme rules, and applicable law.
By requesting, accepting, activating, or using a Dinetap provided Adyen payment terminal, you agree to these Terms.

Adyen processes payment transactions and provides payment infrastructure
You, the Merchant, are the seller of goods and/or services to your customers
Dinetap is not your customer
Dinetap is not the buyer or seller in your transactions with end customers
Adyen’s role is limited to payment processing and related services
You remain fully responsible for your business operations and customer obligations
Be a validly registered business or otherwise legally authorized to operate
Provide accurate onboarding, identity, banking, tax, and business information
Maintain any approvals, licences, consents, or registrations required for your business
Comply with Dinetap onboarding requirements and any Adyen verification requirements
Your business ownership changes
Your legal entity or trading name changes
Your business activities materially change
Your contact, banking, or settlement details change
You become insolvent or subject to any formal financial distress process
Card acceptance functionality
Contactless payment support
Mobile wallet acceptance
Built-in receipt printing capability
Other features depending on terminal model and configuration
Use the terminal only for your legitimate business purposes
Use the terminal in accordance with any instructions, manuals, or policies we provide
Ensure the terminal is operated only by trained and authorized personnel
Keep the terminal secure, powered, connected, and reasonably protected from misuse, theft, or damage
Maintain paper rolls and basic consumables where required for printing
Tamper with, modify, reverse engineer, relocate without approval where relevant, or misuse the terminal
Use the terminal for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or prohibited transactions
Allow third parties to use the terminal without authorization
Use the terminal in a way that breaches scheme rules, Adyen requirements, or applicable law
Loss
Theft
Damage
Unauthorized access
Improper use
Neglect or misuse by your staff or contractors
Lost or stolen terminals
Suspected tampering
Security incidents
Malfunction or connectivity issues affecting payments
All transactions are subject to authorization, fraud checks, scheme rules, and processor approval
A transaction may be declined, delayed, held, reversed, or investigated
Settlement timing may depend on Adyen, banking networks, and applicable cut-off times
Dinetap does not guarantee transaction approval, uninterrupted processing, or settlement timing
Transaction amounts entered are accurate
Customers are shown the final amount before payment
Refunds and reversals are processed correctly and lawfully
Receipts and transaction records are handled appropriately
Staff follow proper payment acceptance procedures
Printed receipt functionality depends on terminal configuration, connectivity, and paper availability
You are responsible for maintaining adequate receipt paper and consumables unless agreed otherwise
You are responsible for ensuring receipt information shown to customers is accurate and compliant
Receipt printing failure does not invalidate an otherwise authorized transaction
Transaction processing fees
Setup, replacement, servicing, or delivery fees
Chargeback or dispute fees
Other agreed commercial charges
Your merchant agreement
Your commercial schedule
Your onboarding documents
Any separate pricing terms agreed with Dinetap
Fees are payable when due without set-off
We may deduct certain amounts from payouts or invoice you separately
Late payment may result in suspension, collection activity, or termination
The goods and services you offer
Product or service descriptions
Pricing, taxes, surcharges, and tips
Refunds, returns, exchanges, cancellations, and complaints
Compliance with consumer law and disclosure obligations
Any customer disputes unrelated to terminal functionality
Customer dissatisfaction with your goods or services
Delivery failures
Incorrect pricing entered by your staff
Refund entitlement decisions
Your customer service obligations
Respond promptly to requests for transaction information
Provide receipts, proof of sale, refund evidence, and other supporting documents
Cooperate with Dinetap during investigations
Accept that scheme and issuer decisions may be final under applicable network rules
Chargeback amounts
Dispute processing fees
Investigation costs
Negative balances
Any losses arising from merchant fraud, negligence, or non-compliance
Applicable laws and regulations
Payment card scheme rules
Adyen requirements
Anti-money laundering and sanctions requirements
Consumer protection rules
Privacy and data handling obligations
Any Dinetap policies notified to you from time to time
Illegal transactions
Fraudulent or deceptive conduct
Prohibited goods or services
Transactions that circumvent card scheme rules
Activity outside your approved business profile without prior approval
Dinetap does not store full card numbers, CVV/CVC, or PIN data
Payment card data is processed through Adyen’s secure payment infrastructure
You must not record, store, copy, photograph, or otherwise retain sensitive authentication data
You must keep terminals physically secure and prevent unauthorized access
Data breach
Card compromise
Terminal tampering
Security incident involving payment acceptance
Internet or power outages
Processor downtime
Terminal malfunction
Banking network issues
Security reviews
Maintenance or software updates
Events outside our reasonable control
You breach these Terms
Your business presents fraud, compliance, reputational, or financial risk
Adyen or another required provider requires suspensionBanking network issues
You provided false or misleading information
Your chargeback or complaint levels become unacceptable
You become insolvent or cease business operations
Stop using the terminal immediately
Return equipment upon request
Pay any outstanding fees, losses, or liabilities
Cooperate with any wind-down or recovery process
Dinetap provides the terminal service on an “as available” basis
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss
We are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or anticipated savings
We are not liable for processor, issuer, network, telecommunications, banking, or third-party service failures
We are not liable for customer disputes relating to your goods or services
Your breach of these Terms

Your goods or services
Your misuse of the terminal
Your breach of law or payment scheme rules
Customer claims relating to your conduct, products, services, or refunds
Fraud, negligence, or misconduct by you or your personnel
Law or regulation
